About these terms

These terms apply to every use of taalbk.com and the Taalbk mobile applications, and to every order placed through them. By using the service or placing an order you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use Taalbk.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
• You must give accurate details and keep them up to date.
• You are responsible for activity on your account, so keep your login details secure.
• One account is for one person. Business accounts need a partner agreement with us.

Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a contract. The contract forms only when the restaurant or store accepts your order and we send you a confirmation. If we cannot accept an order we cancel it and refund you in full, with no charge.

Menus, prices and availability

• Prices are shown in your local currency and include applicable taxes, and are always displayed before you pay.
• Menus, photos and ingredient information are supplied by partner stores and may change without notice.
• Items can sell out. If an item is unavailable we contact you and you may cancel, substitute or wait.
• If a price changes after you order but before the store accepts, we contact you before charging the new amount and you may cancel without charge.

Delivery

• Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.
• Severe weather, road closures, public holidays and high demand can cause delays. We will keep you updated through live tracking and notifications.
• You must give accurate address and access instructions. Orders that fail because of an incorrect address or missing access details may still be charged.
• If nobody can receive the order, the courier follows the instructions on your order and may attempt a redelivery. Failed delivery fees are shown at checkout.

Couriers

Orders are delivered by our couriers or by a delivery partner we appoint. Couriers deliver to the address you confirm and are not obliged to enter private premises beyond what is needed to complete the delivery. Any tip is voluntary and paid directly to the courier.

Allergies and food safety

Allergen and nutrition information on Taalbk is supplied by partner stores and may not be complete or current. Always tell the store about your allergies when you order, and do not rely on online information where your health depends on it. Taalbk is not responsible for information supplied by a store.

Cancelling an order

You can cancel or change an order free of charge until the restaurant or store accepts it. Once preparation begins the order can no longer be cancelled. Our cancellation policy explains what happens if a store cancels, or if you need an order stopped.

Refunds

Our refund policy explains when you can cancel an order and when you are entitled to a refund, including for missing, incorrect, spoiled or late orders, and how long a refund takes to reach you.

Payment

You pay by the method shown at checkout: cash on delivery, card, or Taalbk wallet balance. Available methods vary by city and store. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are never stored on our servers.

Promotions and voucher codes

• One promo code per order unless the offer states otherwise.
• Promo codes have no cash alternative and may not be combined with other offers.
• We may withdraw an offer or limit its use where we reasonably believe it has been misused, and will tell you before doing so.

Reviews and content you post

Reviews and photos you post are public and visible to other users. You must not post anything unlawful, offensive, or belonging to someone else. You keep ownership of your content and give us a licence to display it on Taalbk.

Acceptable use

You must not use Taalbk to place fraudulent orders, impersonate anyone, harass staff or customers, scrape or overload the service, or interfere with its operation. We may suspend accounts that do.

Intellectual property

Taalbk, our logo, app, site design and content belong to us. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service. You may not copy, resell or reuse our content or brand without written permission.

Third-party links

Our pages may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error free, or that menu prices, photos or allergen information are perfectly accurate. Partner menus and offers change frequently.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taalbk is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app and take effect from the date shown on this page. Continuing to use Taalbk after that date means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the country where the order is delivered, and the courts of that country have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any rights you have under your local consumer law.
